My devices is displaying:

Blow Longer”  

  • Means you did not blow long enough.
  • Press the OK button and the Interlock will prepare to test again.
  • Take the test again and blow until the buzzer sounds.

Blow Stronger”  

  • Means you did not blow hard enough.
  • Press the OK button and the Interlock will prepare to test again.
  • Take the test again and blow a little harder and steadier.

Suck after Blow”  

  • Means you did not do the suck-back correctly.
  • Press the OK button and the Interlock will prepare to test again.
  • Take the test again and perform a sharp suck-back when the tone stops. Suck until a beep sounds.

Check mouthpiece”  

  • Means the mouthpiece is not inserted correctly.
  • Adjust the mouthpiece accordingly and press the OK button.
  • Take the test again

If issues persist after troubleshooting contact us to replace your handset.

My device is acting funny:

Be sure to make a note of the date and time your device displays odd behavior.

My vehicle is not starting:

Contact us or Road Guard immediately.

Note that your vehicle may fail to start for reasons outside of having an interlock installed.
